The Southern Nevada Arborist Group (affectionately known as SNAG in the industry) is a group of professionals and dedicated tree friends that has been incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation by the State of Nevada since 1994. SNAG meets regularly to promote the proper selection, planting, care and maintenance of trees of all types. The members of SNAG have embraced the concepts of the International Society of Arboriculture and promote sound and safe tree care.

Our discussion topic will be the dynamics of the root zone and its relationship to tree health and
vigor. Composting and mulching will also be discussed. CEU will be available for this exciting talk!
